There was a time when you had to go abroad for the really high-quality card detailing products. Fortunately - together with the ever increasing popularity of classic cars - the product range has also evolved in function of maintenance. One of the best products on the market is undoubtedly Swissvax. We went to Bert of Swissvax Belgium, the importer of the much-lauded brand, and asked him why the success behind this brand was so successful.
Bert, just for the layman, what is it and by whom is it used?
It is a fantastic product that is used by anyone who has a passion for exclusiv, cars, classic cars or even boats. This can be professional or private. Everything that has to do with the aesthetic aspect of the car is covered by them. From a simple wash, to polishing, cleaning the wheels, the engine compartment, the various plastics, leather repair... you can't imagine if they have developed a separate product for it.
Why did you want to become a distributor?
It is one of the oldest and best-known brands, a real status symbol in the card detail world. They
were one of the very first wax producers and are also the most highly regarded product on the market. It is clearly a product in the higher price segment of the market. It is clearly a product that is in the higher price segment of the market. "You can even bring your car to Switzerland, where a custom-made wax is then produced after a paint inspection. Very pleasant to work with, also in terms of smells and also Swiss, which still stands for quality. It exudes class and is very popular in the oldtimer environment."

Why is it so much better than any other product?
Firstly, there is the degree of protection and gloss and secondly, the ease of use. The production mainly uses natural products. There is also a very large variety for specific brands. I am thinking of Swissvax products that have been specially developed for BMW, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce or Porsche, of the latter you even have products specially tailored to very old Porsche paints. There is also a possibility to send your car to Switzerland, where the paint is inspected and then they make a wax specially tailored to your own paint. That's not cheap, but all the more exclusive.
